The Money Smart campaign by the Australian Government has some useful tools for managing your personal financial affairs.
A good starting point is to complete your own online money health check, which takes around 8 minutes to complete.
Once completed, the ASIC Money Smart online health check allows you save, print or email the resulting report which outlines actions and tips in the areas of:
• Financial goals
• Income and expenses
• Managing debts
• Saving and investing
• Asset protection
• Superannuation and retirement
• Estate planning
Depending on the complexity of your financial affairs you may then benefit from some professional help and guidance with the results. You may simply need an hour of help with interpreting and doing something about the report, or perhaps even need your own personal advice to address issues raised by the report. In either event, please feel free to make an appointment with Michael Rees-Evans. You can do so by using the “Make an Appointment” button on the right hand column of our webpage or by calling Alex on 02 9299 7044.
Whether you need an hour of one-off financial advice or will benefit from more ongoing financial advice and support we are here to help you maximise the probability of achieving your desired outcomes.
